Surf in Marbella
In Marbella we teach surf on the open beaches east of town, around Los Monteros, where we already run our other sports. When swell arrives, these are sandy beaches with gentle waves and plenty of space: the perfect setting for a calm first lesson, far from crowded peaks.
The Mediterranean does not deliver waves daily, and we would rather tell you that than oversell: we follow the forecast with you on WhatsApp and schedule the lesson on the day with the best conditions. If the sea stays flat, we turn it into a paddleboarding session or move it to another coastal spot at no cost.

The best surf months in Marbella run from October to April, when easterly and westerly storms leave usable swell. In summer the sea is usually calm: that is why many families combine a surf lesson with paddle or wingfoil in the same week.

Surf waves in Marbella
Marbella's waves are beach-break waves over sand and modest in size: perfect for first whitewater rides and first green waves. We choose the exact beach based on swell direction, always looking for the cleanest, least crowded stretch.
How you progress with us
The lesson starts on the sand: stance, paddling and take-off. In the water we move from whitewater to the open face at your pace, with the instructor beside you at all times. If you come for several days, we combine surf and paddle so the sea never leaves you without a session.
