Torremolinos gathers the strongest westerly on the western Costa del Sol, and we use it inside the authorised Guadalmar zone: a roughly 300-metre stretch reserved for watersports — between the La Traviata beach bar and the golf course — authorised by the Junta de Andalucía and Capitanía Marítima. For wingfoil that means more stable power in the wing and conditions where the foil lifts sooner, with plenty of room clear of the swimming area — always with an instructor who adjusts wing size and foil speed to your level. It's the progression spot when you already handle the wing in Rincón and want more intensity.
Just 15 minutes from Málaga, it's convenient if you're staying around Torremolinos or Benalmádena. We work launch positions in shallow water and first foil glides at mid height before chasing longer flights, all within the reserved Guadalmar space. If the westerly fails, we reschedule at another spot at no cost.
