Torre del Mar is a privileged spot for paddleboarding: a very long, open beach, flat-water mornings and far less traffic than the beaches of Málaga city. We run beginner lessons and guided tours along the seafront promenade, with the shore always at hand and views over the whole Axarquía coast.
If you live or spend summers in Vélez-Málaga, Torrox or anywhere in the Axarquía, this is your spot: no trips into the city, with the same gear and the same certified instructors as the rest of the club. Families, groups and private sessions, all arranged on WhatsApp.

Torre del Mar (Vélez-Málaga) is about 35 minutes from central Málaga via the A-7 and 20 from Rincón de la Victoria. We meet on the seafront promenade; exact point confirmed by WhatsApp.

You can paddle here all year round. Summer mornings are almost totally calm; in winter we pick the windless days, wetsuit included. If the easterly blows hard, we suggest surf instead or reschedule at no cost.

Paddleboarding routes in Torre del Mar
The usual tour follows the Torre del Mar seafront, one of the longest promenades in the province, with the option to extend towards the lighthouse or the Caleta de Vélez marina. Swim stops, easy pace and guaranteed photos.
How you progress with us
As across the whole school: knees to standing within the first half hour, then on to efficient paddling and turns. Torre del Mar's sheltered water makes progression especially quick for kids and beginners.
