Torre del Mar has one of the widest, longest beaches in the province, and in kitesurfing that is gold: real space to rig and launch the kite without stress. On the Axarquía coast the easterly comes in clean off the sea, without the turbulence of hemmed-in urban beaches. We are 20 minutes from our Rincón de la Victoria base, so it is always on our radar when the forecast points east.
It is a spot we love for beginners when the easterly is moderate: sand to practise kite control calmly and a wide shoreline for body-drags. In summer we pick stretches and time slots with fewer swimmers to work in complete safety. If the wind does not cooperate, we move the lesson to another coastal spot or reschedule at no cost.

The easterly reaches Torre del Mar parallel or slightly cross-shore, the safest direction for learning: if anything goes wrong, the wind brings you back towards the beach.
